Mohammad Polash

Dr Mohammad Polash is a Lecturer in the School of Computer Science at The University of Sydney. He joined the university in 2019 and previously served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jagannath University, Bangladesh. His research interests include Artificial intelligence, Data management and data science, Applied computing, and Software engineering. Dr Polash obtained his PhD from Griffith University, Australia, and completed his master's and bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

He also investigates optimization techniques, such as constraint-based search and local search, applied to problems like Golomb rulers and aircraft sequencing. His work includes designing reversible logic circuits for DNA computing and developing algorithm visualization tools for e-learning.
