Dr. Mahendra Piraveenan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Sydney. His research focuses on infectious diseases, complex network analysis, vaccination uptake modelling, and infectious disease dynamics modelling in social systems. He also explores topological analysis of complex networks, bounded rationality in game theory, networked game theory, and interfirm network modelling and analysis. Dr. Piraveenan teaches undergraduate and postgraduate units in complex systems, modelling, and simulation, and supervises Higher Degree by Research students in his research areas.
