Imdad Ullah

Dr Imdad Ullah is a Lecturer at the School of Computer Science, The University of Sydney. He received his PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from The University of New South Wales. Prior to joining The University of Sydney, he worked as a research scholar at Data61 CSIRO Australia, previously National ICT Australia, and at UNSW. He also held a position at The Secure Mobile Networking Lab (SEEMOO) at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, where he worked on projects related to privacy and trust in cyber-physical and mobile systems. His research interests include privacy-enhancing technologies, data analytics, large language models, the Internet of Things, blockchain, network modelling and design, network measurements, and trusted networking.

Imdad Ullah is a researcher with a focus on Privacy, Data analytics, LLMs, Blockchain, and Education. His work explores the intersection of these fields, particularly in the context of cybersecurity, IoT, and data protection. He has published extensively on topics such as blockchain-based solutions for mitigating DDoS attacks, privacy in targeted advertising, and energy-efficient routing protocols for underwater wireless sensor networks. His research also includes the development of machine learning-inspired intrusion detection systems for IoT environments and the design of privacy-preserving frameworks for mobile advertising. Ullah's contributions highlight the application of emerging technologies to enhance security and data integrity in smart systems.
