Eduardo Velloso

Eduardo Velloso is a Professor in the CS department at The University of Sydney. His research interests include human-computer interaction, virtual and mixed reality, pervasive computing, human-centred computing, and interaction and experience design. His work focuses on distributed collaboration in mixed reality and human-AI interaction. His research has been recognized at top venues in Human-Computer Interaction, including CHI, UIST, TOCHI, DIS, and TEI. His approach is multidisciplinary, integrating methods from Engineering, Design, and Psychology. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Lancaster University and a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
