Regular biography
Mr Matt Faber is an Associate Director – Transport at Infrastructure Australia, based at The University of Sydney's Business School. With over 30 years of experience in the Australian transport sector, Matt has led transit, roads, interchange, and active transport initiatives for government agencies and local councils. He has contributed to major transport projects and planning efforts, including the Future Transport 2056 planning and the Western Sydney T-ways. Matt is also a guest lecturer at the Institute of Transport Logistics Studies, where he shares his expertise in transport and infrastructure foundations. His work focuses on developing place-based transport plans and supporting national infrastructure audits.
