Martijn Boersma

Martijn Boersma is an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies at The University of Sydney Business School. His research focuses on the environmental and social responsibilities of business, with an emphasis on modern slavery, business and human rights, and supply chains. Prior to joining The University of Sydney in 2024, he worked at the University of Notre Dame Australia and the University of Technology Sydney. His work has included research consultancies for organisations such as UNICEF, Ethical Clothing Australia, and the United Nations Development Programme. He has also received several research grants, including an Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award and a Discovery Project grant.
