Mark Waddington is a Mr at The University of Sydney, affiliated with the BUS department. His research interests include higher education, educational technology, and computing. Mark joined the Accounting discipline after twenty years of commercial experience working in various financial and operational roles in professional accounting, corporate accounting, and the financial markets. His main teaching interest is in management accounting, and in 2017 he received The Business School Dean's Citation for Teaching in ACCT5002. He has a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University, and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Technology, Sydney. He is a Chartered Accountant, having commenced his career working as an auditor at KPMG where his major clients were The Australian Stock Exchange, and the first subscription tv company in Australia, Australis Media.
