Dr Maria Rumyantseva is a Senior Lecturer and Academic Fellow in Innovation Studies at the University of Sydney Business School. Her research focuses on technology management, strategy, organisational behaviour, entrepreneurship, innovation management, international business, research, science and technology policy, and sociological methodology and research methods. She uses process-based research methodologies to explore innovation practices and challenge existing theories. Dr Rumyantseva has published in top-tier journals such as Strategic Management Journal and Journal of International Business Studies. She collaborates with industry and start-ups through the University of Sydney Genesis and Incubate programs, and her teaching approach has received multiple awards. Prior to joining the University of Sydney, she held a postdoc position at the London Business School and was a visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley and SINTEF.
