Maria Ishkova

Maria Ishkova is a Dr at the University of Sydney Business School, Department of Work and Organisational Studies. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Maria has a classical pedagogical education and a PhD in political science from BMSTU (2002). She spent over 15 years working in organisational communications, including more than 6 years as Chief Communications Officer and board member. She coordinates undergraduate and postgraduate units and delivers masterclasses on organisational communication for students and professional staff. Maria’s approach to education is innovative, industry-oriented, and personalised, with a focus on amplifying Student Voice and the Students as Partners teaching philosophy.
