Leanne Cutcher

Leanne Cutcher is a Professor of Management and Organisation Studies at The University of Sydney, Department of BUS. Her research explores organisational strategies, discourses, and practices and how they impact equity and inclusion for organizations, the people who work in them, and the wider communities in which they are embedded. Leanne's research has explored gendered and aged identities in a range of organizations. She has a particular interest in alternative forms of organisation, including co-operatives, social enterprises, and Indigenous community-owned organisations. Leanne is the sole Chief Investigator on an ARC Discovery Project grant, Hybrid Practices in Indigenous Community-Owned Organizations, DP230102356 (2023-2026). She was the recipient of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM) award for 'Excellence in Indigenous Management Scholarship (2023).
