Iftekhar Hasan

Iftekhar Hasan is a Professor at The University of Sydney, affiliated with the BUS department. His research interests include financial institutions, corporate finance, capital markets, and emerging economies. He is also the E. Gerald Corrigan Chair in International Business and Finance at Gabelli School of Business and co-director of the Center for Research in Contemporary Finance at Fordham University. Professor Hasan serves as a scientific advisor at the Central Bank of Finland and is the managing editor of the Journal of Financial Stability. He has published over 325 works, including 16 books and edited volumes, and has presented his research at more than 550 professional meetings. He has held visiting faculty positions at several universities worldwide and is a Fulbright Scholar.
