Regular biography
Hans Hendrischke is Professor of International Business at the University of Sydney Business School. His research focuses on international business, with particular attention to the globalisation of Chinese firms and their investment in Australia. He is a member of the University’s China Studies Centre and has held leadership roles at various institutions, including the University of Sydney Confucius Institute. His work includes annual reports on Chinese investment in Australia, produced with KPMG. He has lived in China since 1979 and speaks fluent Chinese. His teaching and PhD supervision centre on formal and informal business institutions, local business systems, and local governance.
