Hannah Kunst

Hannah Kunst is a Dr at The University of Sydney, affiliated with the BUS department. Her research interests include applied and developmental psychology, clinical and health psychology, social and personality psychology, sociology, and personality and individual differences. She is passionate about translational research and bridging the gap between research and practice. Kunst conducted her interdisciplinary PhD at the University of Sydney Business School and the University of Sydney School of Psychology, and received her Research Masters of Science in Psychopathology at the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands. She is the deputy director of the Body, Heart and Mind in Business Research Group, an associate fellow of Advance HE, and a member of the Australian Compassion Council. She was also a recipient of the University of Sydney Early Career Researcher Award, the Business School Research Scholarship and the Westbrook & Jessie Anstice Scholarship.

Hannah Kunst is a Lecturer at the University of Sydney Business School, specializing in emotional intelligence, attachment, and interpersonal emotion regulation. Her research explores how individuals regulate others' emotions through extrinsic strategies, focusing on workplace dynamics and clinical populations. She investigates the role of early maladaptive schemas in personality disorders and the impact of healthcare leaders' emotional regulation on follower wellbeing. Her work emphasizes the importance of understanding emotion regulation processes in both personal and professional contexts, contributing to the development of a unified framework for interpersonal emotion regulation research.
