Dr Emma Lees is a social scientist affiliated with The University of Sydney's Business School (BUS). Her research focuses on industrial and employee relations, economic geography, and professional ethics. She holds a doctoral thesis from the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Sydney and is currently an Honorary Associate with the Work and Organisational Studies Discipline. Her work explores cooperative enterprises, governance, business ethics, and the sociology of professions. She is a member of the Australian Sociological Society (TASA), the Sydney Employment Relations Research Group (SEERG), the Co-operatives Research Group, and collaborates with the Co-op Federation. Her research includes studies of the Catalan cooperative movement and professionals' activities in Australia.
