Elsie Foeken

Elsie Foeken is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusion at Work, affiliated with The University of Sydney's Business School. Her research focuses on the intersections between gender, time, and paid and unpaid labour, with expertise in qualitative research and the Australian gig economy. Dr Foeken's disciplinary background is in sociology, with specific interests in sociology of gender, nursing workforce, feminist methodologies, and feminist theory. She completed her PhD at Monash University.
