Dewa Wardak

Dr. Dewa Wardak is a Senior Lecturer in Business Educational Development at the University of Sydney Business School. Her research interests include educational administration, management and leadership, educational technology and computing, learning sciences, curriculum and pedagogy, higher education, teacher education and professional development of educators, teacher and student wellbeing, education systems, economics, business and management curriculum and pedagogy, and work integrated learning. She is involved in the co-design and development of units of study, courses, and degree programs at the Business School, creating engaging and authentic learning experiences for students.

Dewa Wardak is a researcher at The University of Sydney, focusing on learning sciences, learning technologies and new media, learning and teaching in higher education, and teacher education. Their work explores collaborative curriculum development, digital design ecologies, and the role of multimodal practices in educational design. Wardak's research emphasizes co-design practices, the integration of gestures and inscriptions in educational design team meetings, and the development of frameworks for learning by design. They also investigate how information and communication technologies shape educational technology research and how learning can be made meaningful for postgraduate students.
