Daniel Schlagwein

Daniel Schlagwein is Professor at The University of Sydney, Department of Business Systems (BUS). His research interests include information systems organisation and management, business systems in context, information systems, business information systems, human geography, and business information management. He leads the Digital Future(s) Research Group and is Editor-in-Chief (joint) of the Journal of Information Technology. His work focuses on digital work and organizing, with particular interest in digital nomadism, openness, and crowdsourcing. He has authored over 80 peer-reviewed papers and has edited two special issues and chaired ten research tracks at leading Information Systems conferences. He has also developed teaching materials such as "The Crypto Game" to teach blockchain.
