Daniel Oron

Daniel Oron is a Professor at The University of Sydney, affiliated with the BUS department. His research focuses on Combinatorial Optimisation, particularly within Scheduling Theory. His interests include batch scheduling with machine setups and costs, scheduling models with customer delivery, scheduling models with learning, aging and deteriorating conditions, and scheduling resource dependent processing time tasks. He is an editorial board member for the Journal of Industrial & Management Optimization. Daniel joined the University of Sydney in late 2004 after completing a PhD in Operations Research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
