Regular biography
Dr Connie Chan is a lecturer at the University of Sydney Business School, where she has been teaching International Business since 2014. She brings alternative perspectives, problem-solving skills, and international experience to her research and educational work. Chan is a Fellow of the Academy of Higher Education and has received awards for tutoring and lecturing in IBUS course units. She has also been nominated for the Wayne Lonergan award (outstanding teaching) in 2018 and 2023. Prior to entering academia, she worked as a senior analyst in Singapore, covering economic development and international relations, and gained corporate management experience in technology, communications, retail, and community services sectors since moving to Australia 20 years ago.
