Regular biography
Chenxu Zheng joined the University of Sydney Business School as a Lecturer in the Discipline of Business Information Systems in February 2025. His research focuses on the future of work and the effective use of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly examining how generative AI influences organizations and employees from a human capital perspective. He explores scalable interventions to maximize benefits and mitigate negative impacts of GAI. His work employs experiments and econometric modelling to study the social implications of generative AI in human reasoning. He has published in the proceedings of ICIS, PACIS, and AOM. Zheng holds a BBM in Information Management and Information Systems from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and a PhD in Information Systems and Analytics from the National University of Singapore.
