Carmen Huckel Schneider

Carmen Huckel Schneider is Associate Professor at The University of Sydney, affiliated with the BUS department. Her research interests include health services and systems, public health, pain, health promotion, clinical sciences, policy and administration. She is Deputy Director at the Leeder Centre for Health Policy, Economics and Data and lead of the Health Governance, Policy and Leadership theme. Dr. Huckel Schneider is also Director, Academic Education in the Sydney School of Public Health. She holds honorary positions as Senior Adviser at the Sax Institute and Honorary Senior Fellow at the George Institute. Her current research includes governance in global health and comparative health systems analysis. She is unit coordinator for 'Health Systems and Financing' and 'Global Health Policy' for the Sydney School of Public Health.
