Dr Cara Vansteenkiste is a Sydney Horizon Fellow in Finance at the University of Sydney Business School. Her research focuses on corporate philanthropy, corporate finance, international mergers and acquisitions, and board gender issues. She holds a PhD in Finance from Tilburg University and was a visiting researcher at Harvard University's John M. Olin Center for Law, Economics, and Business. Dr Vansteenkiste was awarded an ARC DECRA grant in 2022 to develop her research on corporate giving.
