Anish Purkayastha

Dr. Anish Purkayastha is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of International Business at the University of Sydney Business School. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, India. Prior to his academic career, Anish spent fifteen years in the Information Technology industry, working with financial service organizations in the United States and Canada. He was previously Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak and visiting faculty at the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur and Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru. His research interests include Global Strategy, Dynamic Capability, Behavioral Strategy, Emerging Markets, and Business Group Affiliation. His teaching areas are International Business, Strategic Management, and Strategy Consulting.
