Regular biography
Hongbo Hu is a Faculty member in the School of Life Sciences and Biotechnology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on biochemical engineering, with an emphasis on metabolic engineering and biotechnology applications. Hu has contributed to various publications in fields such as bioremediation, metabolic flux analysis, and the production of bio-based compounds. He has held a postdoctoral position at Inha University, Korea, and served as a visiting scholar at Texas A&M University, USA. His work includes studies on phenazine degradation, separation techniques, and the engineering of microbial strains for industrial applications.
