Regular biography
Chunlin Wan is a professor in the School of Life Sciences and Biotechnology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on molecular diagnosis of schizophrenia based on niacin skin reaction and metabolic abnormalities, as well as the mechanism of redox imbalance in schizophrenia. He has conducted extensive studies on niacin skin flushing reactions in Chinese psychiatric patients, leading to the development of a high-specificity and sensitivity molecular diagnostic model. His work also includes metabolomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics analyses to explore metabolic disturbances and redox imbalance in schizophrenia. Wan has held various academic positions at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, including professor since 2014, and has received several research grants and awards. His research has been published in prominent journals such as Antioxidant Redox Signaling, Schizophrenia Bulletin, and Translational Psychiatry.
