Paola Perez-Aleman

Dr. Paola Perez-Aleman is an Associate Professor of Strategy & Organization at McGill University and Academic Director of the Centre for Strategy Studies in Organizations (CSSO). Her research focuses on clusters and networks, developing countries, economic development, emerging market strategy, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. She explores how local enterprises in developing countries build production and innovation capabilities and how vulnerable groups are included in sustainable production practices. Dr. Perez-Aleman teaches courses on international management, including Strategic Management in Developing Countries and Business-Government Relations, and contributes to research on organizational and institutional processes that foster equity and sustainability.

Paola Perez-Aleman's research focuses on economic development, organizational change, clusters, global value chains, and innovation in developing economies. Her work explores how firms, states, and associations adapt through learning and institutional transformations to foster economic growth.
