Gregory Vit is an Associate Professor (Professional), Strategy & Organization, at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management, and is retired. He is also a Board Advisor for The John Dobson Foundation and CEO of Vit Innovation Thinking Inc. Vit joined McGill in 2001 and was recognized for his research on conformity and contrarianism in financial organizations, including a 2007 'Breaking the Frame Award' for his paper on investment banks. His book, 'The Risk in Risk Management,' was published in 2013. He received the 'Professor of the Year' award in 2013 for teaching excellence. Vit has extensive industry experience, including roles at Bank of America and TD Securities Inc. He was also the former director of the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship, where he launched several innovative programs. Vit retired in 2021 and continues to support McGill through bursaries and advisory roles.
