Regular biography
David Morris Lank is Professor Emeritus, Strategy and Organization, at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management. He joined the faculty in 1999 and has taught MBA-level courses in entrepreneurial start-ups, early-phase management, and entrepreneurial leadership. He has also designed and supplied content for several undergraduate courses, including Technological Entrepreneurship. As founder and Chair of Helix Investments, he has been involved in the venture capital funding of 147 companies. His teaching approach integrates practitioner insights, and he has been a visiting lecturer at over 20 universities. He is also the author of more than 40 books and was named to the Order of Canada in 1996.
