Brian E Smith

Brian E Smith is a Senior Faculty Lecturer (Retired), Operations Management, affiliated with the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. His research focuses on Risk Management. He joined the Faculty of Management at McGill University in 1980 and has been instrumental in coordinating the undergraduate statistics program. Dr. Smith also taught at McGill's Center for Continuing Education in the Management Graduate Division. His teaching and research interests include the effective use of technology and Distance Learning in teaching Statistics. He has collaborated with medical researchers in the analysis and interpretation of medical data and has published works on teaching mathematics with graphing calculators.
