Benjamin Croitoru
Regular biography
Dr. Benjamin Croitoru is an Associate Professor of Finance at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management. He holds the title of Associate Dean, Undergraduate Programs, and serves as Academic Director of the McGill Personal Finance Essentials course and the MBA Japan program. His research focuses on asset pricing, mutual and hedge funds, portfolio management, and risk management, with an emphasis on equilibrium pricing of financial assets in the presence of imperfections. Dr. Croitoru has published in leading journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics and Management Science. He teaches introductory finance, investments, and theoretical asset pricing at various levels. His work has been presented at major finance conferences, and he has received research grants from SSHRC, IFM2, and FQRSC.
