Regular biography
Professor Sim, Heung-Sun is a faculty member in the Department of Physics at KAIST. His research focuses on Condensed Matter Theory, specifically mesoscopic physics. His work explores phenomena such as anyons, fractional statistics, topological superconductors, and quantum transport in nanoscale systems. He is affiliated with the Quantum Electron Correlation & Transport Theory Group. His academic profile includes a Ph.D. in Physics from KAIST, and he has held positions as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor at KAIST since 2004.
