Lee, Wonhee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at KAIST. His research focuses on biophysics, specifically biosensing, cryo-EM, and microfluidics. He is affiliated with the Microfluidics & Biosensor Laboratory, where his work involves the development of novel microfluidic and MEMS devices for bio-applications and fundamental sciences. His research interests include nanofluidic liquid and cryo-TEM for structural dynamics of biomolecules, cellular metabolic energy studies using microfluidic calorimeters, and microparticle/cell manipulation through inertial microfluidics. He holds a B.S. in Physics from KAIST and a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Caltech.
