Regular biography

Professor Kim, Eunseong is a Professor in the Department of Physics at KAIST. His research focuses on Low Temperature Physics, with an emphasis on experimental studies of quantum phenomena in materials at milikelvin temperatures. He leads the Superconducting Quantum Nanoelectronics Laboratory and is the Chair of the Graduate School of Quantum Science and Technology. His work includes investigations into phase transitions in superfluids, supersolids, and superconductors, as well as quantum transport properties in nanowires, graphene, and polymers. He also explores superconducting qubits and quantum hybrid systems. Currently, five Ph.D. students are engaged in his research group.
