Regular biography
KAWATA Kazumasa is a Faculty member in the PHY department at The University of Tokyo. Their research focuses on Cosmic-Ray Physics, with participation in the Telescope Array experiment in Utah, USA, the Tibet ASγ experiment in the Tibetan Plateau, and the ALPACA experiment in Bolivia Andes. They are exploring the origins and acceleration mechanisms of cosmic rays with extreme energies, as well as analyzing the magnetic field structure near the Sun and space weather forecasting to predict the arrival of solar plasma to the Earth.
