HIGUCHI Takeo is a Faculty member at The University of Tokyo, Department of PHY. His research focuses on Experimental Particle Physics, particularly in the context of the Belle II experiment at Tsukuba, Japan. He has contributed to the development of the vertex detector and data acquisition system for Belle II, which aims to explore new physics beyond the Standard Model. His work includes precise measurements of the Unitarity Triangle and the search for dark matter and other unresolved mysteries in the Universe. HIGUCHI Takeo's research is closely tied to the Kavli IPMU, where he has been involved in the Belle II experiment since its inception.
