Regular biography

HAYASHI Masamitsu is a faculty member in the Department of PHY at The University of Tokyo. His research focuses on condensed matter physics, particularly the transport, magnetism, and optical response of thin film heterostructures. His work includes the study of optical probing of spin and orbital currents, quantum hybrid systems involving magnons, phonons, and photons, as well as the investigation of spin-orbit torque and magnon-phonon coupling. His research has been published in several journals, including Physical Review B, Applied Physics Letters, and Nano Letters.
