Ryo Tanifuji

Ryo Tanifuji is an Assistant Professor at The University of Tokyo, affiliated with the Department of Chemistry (UG) and the Department of Chemistry (GR) in the Graduate School of Science. His research focuses on natural product chemistry, organic synthesis, chemo-enzymatic synthesis, biosynthetic chemistry, and chemical biology. Tanifuji's work explores the synthesis and biological applications of natural products, with an emphasis on developing novel methodologies for their production. His research is conducted within the laboratory at the School of Science, where he is also involved in mentoring students and contributing to academic outreach.
