SHI Xi

SHI Xi is a Faculty member in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include Intelligent Elevator & Escalator Tribology, Precision Instruments, and Preventative/Predictive Maintenance. He has led and co-led numerous research projects funded by various governmental and industrial sponsors, focusing on elevator and escalator safety, friction reduction, and material characterization. SHI Xi's work has resulted in multiple publications in reputable journals, contributing to advancements in mechanical engineering and tribology.
