Regular biography
SHI Lun is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include ultra-precision positioning and manufacturing, as well as measurement and control of mechanical and electrical systems. He has led several research projects, including work on sub-nanometer measurement and control methods for ultra-precision positioning systems and intelligent tool head systems for weld robots. SHI has also contributed to the development of high-precision numerical control equipment and quality improvement in manufacturing processes. He teaches courses on measurement and mechanical & electrical control systems at the undergraduate level and on control of mechanical and electrical systems at the master's level.
