SHEN Bin is a Faculty member in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include diamond and graphene-based tribological and anti-corrosion coatings, super-hard and smart coatings for cutting tools, and on-site monitoring of machining processes. He has led several research projects funded by national and municipal programs, including the National Natural Science Foundation and MIIT initiatives. SHEN has published extensively in journals such as Surface & Coatings Technology and Diamond and Related Materials. He also teaches courses on machining technology and elastic and plastic mechanics.
