Regular biography
QI Jin is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on product innovation design, mechanical and electrical product development, artificial intelligence, and knowledge-based engineering. He has led several research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation. QI has published extensively in journals such as Advances in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence. He also teaches courses on knowledge fusion and innovation design and engineering introduction. His work includes contributions to case-based reasoning, multi-domain knowledge modeling, and conceptual design methodologies.
