Regular biography
NIE Baojie is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include radiation protection and nuclear emergency, tritium environmental behaviors, fuel cycle for fusion reactor and nuclear safety, and safety analysis of fusion radioactive dust. He has led several research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. NIE has published numerous papers in reputable journals such as Journal of Hazardous Materials, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, and Journal of Hydrology. His work focuses on the environmental impact of tritium release and nuclear safety analysis.
