Regular biography
Lin He is a professor at a university in China, specializing in environmental engineering and combustion science. He has made significant contributions to the field of exhaust gas treatment, particularly in the areas of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and the simultaneous removal of soot and NOx. His research has focused on developing advanced catalytic materials and hybrid systems that combine catalytic and plasma technologies to improve the efficiency of emissions control in internal combustion engines. Lin has also conducted extensive studies on the mechanisms of soot oxidation and NOx reduction over various catalysts, including spinel-type and perovskite-type materials. His work has been widely published in high-impact journals, and several of his papers have been recognized as ESI highly cited articles. In addition to his research, Lin has been actively involved in teaching, with a focus on energy and sustainable development for undergraduate students.
