Regular biography
Li Yanting is a faculty member in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She holds a Doctorate from the IELM department of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and has served as an Assistant Professor from 2008 to 2013, later becoming an Associate Professor. Her research interests include quality management, statistical quality control and diagnosis, Six Sigma techniques, data mining, and knowledge discovery. She has led and participated in several research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Li has published extensively in SCI-indexed journals, including works on statistical process control and fault identification in multistage processes. She also teaches courses such as Quality Management and Decision Theory and Analysis.
