Regular biography
LI Wei is an associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include microfluidics, nature-inspired engineering, and soft matter and soft robotics. He holds a Ph.D. from The University of Hong Kong and has been affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2025. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as Nature Communications, Science Advances, and Advanced Materials. He has also received several awards, including the Gold Medal of the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva and the FLUIGENT Microfluidics Award.
