KONG Chengdong is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include non-equilibrium plasma discharge, plasma assisted combustion, optical and laser based diagnostics, heterogeneous particle combustion, and nanoparticle synthesis and measurement. He completed his B.S. and Ph.D. at Tsinghua University, and has been affiliated with the Institute of Thermal Energy Engineering since 2015. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics, Combustion and Flame, and Applied Physics Letters.
