Regular biography
KANG Xiaoming is a Faculty member in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include nontraditional machining, micro machining based on nontraditional machining, and electrical propulsion. He has led and participated in multiple research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and other national programs. KANG has published numerous papers in international journals and holds several patents related to electro-discharge machining and propulsion technologies. He also teaches courses on engineering and society and introduction to aeronautics and astronautics at the undergraduate level.
