Regular biography
HUANG Zhen is a Faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include alternative fuels for transportation, engine combustion, combustion diagnostics, and energy policy. He has led numerous research projects, including studies on biodiesel surrogates, diesel engine particle formation, and clean energy technologies. HUANG has also contributed to the development of patents related to fuel injection systems and combustion control. He has served in various leadership roles within academic and professional organizations, including as Chairman of the Shanghai Society of Internal Combustion Engine and Executive Editor of the International Journal of Frontiers in Energy.
