Regular biography
HUANG Yixiang is an associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, affiliated with the Institute of Mechatronics & Logistics Equipment. His research interests include remote monitoring, smart maintenance diagnosis, feature extraction, data dimensionality reduction, and electric motor design and control. He has led and participated in several research projects, including health assessment methods for heavy-duty AGV electric motors and remote monitoring technologies for key components and systems. Huang has published extensively in journals such as Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing and Expert Systems with Applications, focusing on condition monitoring and fault diagnosis. He also teaches courses in C++ programming and software design.
