Regular biography
HE Jun is a professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on mechanism design, dynamics, and control, with an emphasis on suspension mechanism design, vehicle dynamics, autonomous navigation, and motion planning for planetary rovers. He also investigates design, visual/force fusion perception, and AI control methods for satellite robots. HE Jun serves as deputy director of the SJTU-BICE Innovation Center of Space Manipulation. His work includes projects on robotic manipulation in space, satellite robot operations, and compliance in rescue robots for oil well blowouts. He has published extensively in top-tier journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Robotics and Aerospace Science and Technology.
